Michelle VanHemert Branton is an Associate Broker and REALTOR® with Living Down South, serving clients in the Upstate of South Carolina and Northeast Georgia, including Lake Hartwell. Michelle, whose passion lies in helping clients achieve their ideal residential, lake, barn & land, or mountain lifestyle.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Michelle has lived in Colorado and Nevada before settling in Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV 1989) and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Her qualifications also include an Interior Design Certificate and specialized training in Real Estate Investment. With her extensive industry experience, education, and dedication to client success, Michelle is a trusted professional for any real estate needs.
Outside of real estate, Michelle serves as Vice Chairperson on the Executive Board for the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, participates in community events, and enjoys yoga, reading, Sudoku, and animal rescue. When she’s not working, Michelle loves traveling, boating, and spending time on Lake Hartwell with friends and her rescue pets, Lola, Smitty, and Sophie.
